I have my mother and father to thank for the many hours and days and weeks spent in doing research into their respective family trees, along with the many relatives they have met along the way who have furthered the research as time passes.

I've never been much interested in the cold, hard facts of just a family tree, but I find the tidbits of information that go along with those facts to be fascinating. The things you're likely to find may be highly surprising, from the rich to the poor, from the college graduates to the illiterate, from the manor-born to the horse thief.

The information you find here will likely be a mixture of all of the above, including those cold, hard facts. I hope you will find something of interest and will come back as the site progresses.
